Benzino Drops “Zino Vs. The Planet” Track Addressing Coi Leray and 50 Cent

Benzino released a track titled “Zino Vs. the Planet,” where he talks about his feud with 50 Cent and his daughter, Coi Leray.

Benzino doesn’t spend much time dwelling on the circumstances involving him and his daughter, who claims to have threatened her and her mother because she publicly said he went bankrupt after Source folded.

After Leray took to social media to air their dirty laundry, he allegedly notably threatened his mother after she refused to join the reality show Growing up in hip-hopBenzino replied, accusing Voi of being part of the “social generation” that has no respect for those who came before them. Zino doesn’t say much in the song other than establishing that he has love for her no matter where they currently stand with each other.

The track was primarily aimed at 50 Cent, following a number of transphobic posts from the Queens rapper regarding what he claimed was a relationship between Benzino and trans actress Shauna Brooks. When Benzino last spoke about his interactions with 50, he mentioned their first meeting where he allegedly helped him after he was stabbed and showed up at his studio.

“When I first met 50, you know what I mean, that’s when he got stabbed at the radio station. … He got stabbed at the Hit Factory on 54th Street, the big studio that everybody used to go to. … He’s bleeding in the side from being stabbed, okay? he said. “He had no money.”

Benzino again referred to this interaction in the song, saying, “50 keep it a hunnid / I helped you when they jumped you / I should have let them ghost you like Kanan when they busted you.”

Now we are waiting to see how 50 responds…
