GRAMMY award-winning group Old Crow Medicine Show announced a special performance titled Old Crow Medicine Show’s Hootenanny At The Caverns Amphitheater, which will take place June 25 in Grundy County, TN. It will be the first full-capacity show at the venue, which opened in fall 2020 as a socially distanced venue in response to COVID-19 with limited capacity. Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 1, with presale on Wednesday, March 30 HERE. Overnight packages with accommodation and transportation as well as on-site camping passes are available.

Old Crow Medicine Show are on tour this Spring/Summer in support of their new album Paint This Town, which will be released April 22 via ATO Records. Demonstrating the band’s longstanding ability to merge deep introspection with a ravishing string band revival sound, Paint This Town has already been covered by Billboard, Consequence of Sound, Rolling Stone, SPIN and many more. On their March cover, The East Nashvillian proclaimed, “The band’s playing is at its best, as Secor’s famous vocals crackle with renewed vigor,” while Garden & Gun said, “Paint This Town is a album that explores the rich history of American country and roots music while not shy away from the darker corners of the South. The album is full of stompers and moments of pure elation right alongside intimate character studies and songs that tackle more current themes.

Paint This Town was recorded at the band’s East Nashville-based Hartland studio and co-produced with Matt Ross-Spang (John Prine, Jason Isbell). The group shared three singles from the album, including “Honey Chile”, “Bombs Away” and “Paint This Town”, which topped the Americana Singles Radio Chart for over a month.
