What’s Love Got To Do With It: Sajal Aly Drops Film’s First Look

Showbiz star Sajal Aly shared the first look at her character in “What’s Love Got To Do With It?” by Jemima Goldsmith.

The ‘Sinf-e-Aahan’ actor took to the photo and video sharing app on Thursday and shared his character’s first look in the highly anticipated British romantic comedy ‘What’s Love Got To Do With It?” .

Aly, who was “thrilled” to share the first look at the project with fans, also announced the big news in the caption of the three-photo gallery. “The exciting news [is] that the Toronto International Film Festival will host its world premiere on Saturday, September 10.

Aly’s Instagram post had fans excited and garnered a stellar response from her millions of followers on the social app. Along with the thousands of hearts on the clicks, several of his co-stars, fans, and family members took to the comment sections to congratulate the actor on his achievement.

While producer Goldsmith and Aly’s brother-in-law Ali Ansari dropped heart and fire emojis in the comment bar, ‘Dunk’ actor Sana Javed wrote: “It looks awesome!!! All the best.”

His recent music video co-star, famed singer Shehzad Roy was also spotted in the comments section, as he wished, “Wow…break your leg!”

Sajal Aly – whose last screen appearance was in ‘Sinf-e-Aahan’ – will next be seen in the international title. Directed and written by Shekhar Kapur and Jemima respectively, the film is set to be a “cross-cultural rom-com about love and marriage, between London and South Asia”.

Apart from Sajal Aly, “What’s love got to do with it?” stars Lily James, Emma Thompson, Shazad Latif, Rob Brydon, Shabani Azmi, Asim Chaudhry and Jeff Mirza.
